The Home is Sacred campaign sought to promote a fundamental idea: that everyone deserves a place to call home. For this effort, I undertook the task of developing the campaign's visual identity system, meticulously creating a cohesive identity through logo design, typography, color schemes, and style guidelines. This resulted in successful campaign imagery and collateral that reached hundreds of thousands of Californians via social media and televised reporting. The visual communication logic was for the branding to reflect the character of a spirtually rooted, grassroots, inclusive base of volunteers who were guided by their shared values to help others.
From rally signs and banners to flyers and t-shirts, animations, and videos, this branding helped PICO California stand out among dozens of nonprofit organizations. It also served as the visual identity system for a campaign that successfully passed three pieces of legislation aimed at keeping families housed in California.
